Schools Meet Adequate Yearly Progress Goals
Connections Academy schools in California, Ohio, Oregon, and Wisconsin have met the No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Act’s Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) measures for Reading, Math, and overall for the 2006–07 school year.
AYP is based on standardized test participation and performance by all categories of students in a school, including low-income students, gifted students, and children with disabilities. Connections Academy helps each student maximize his or her potential and meet the highest performance standards by following an individual learning plan at home under the guidance of a certified district teacher, along with the oversight of a parent or guardian.
